This isn’t just about booking photos. It’s about trust, comfort, and clear communication. Below you’ll find answers to the things I’m asked most often so you can step into your session with confidence.
GENERAL INQUIRIES

I'm based in Hammond, Wisconsin, and regularly travel throughout Western WI and the Twin Cities metro. A standard mileage fee applies for sessions more than 30 miles from Hammond. I also love the opportunity to travel for weddings and am happy to provide a custom travel quote for events or sessions outside my regular area.

Cinematic, soulful, and moody with an emphasis on emotional connection. I aim for storytelling over stiff posing, and my work reflects real moments over perfection.

Booking is simple and all in one place. On the Session Packages+Booking Page you can explore each session type, see what’s included, and book directly when you're ready. You can also book straight from any of the portfolio if you already know what session fits you best.
Just select your package, choose your date, and fill out the quick booking form. Once it’s submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. And we’ll start planning your session details together.

Yes. The 50% retainer secures your date, and the remainder is due before your session. For weddings or larger packages, I offer flexible installment options - just ask.
Session PlANNING

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a location idea to the table or choose from a list of my personal favorites, tailored to the season and the vibe we’re going for.

You’ll get a style guide once booked. It includes outfit tips that pair well with my moody style, and access to my Client Closet. A collection of dresses and pieces available for select sessions.

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast together. If it’s not looking good, we’ll reschedule or shift the session indoors (home or studio) at no extra cost.

Pets are always welcome. If you're planning to include more people than originally discussed, just let me know in advance so I can adjust accordingly.
EditiNg + Delivery

Galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks for sessions, and 6–8 weeks for weddings. If you’re working with a specific deadline (due date, graduation, etc.), let me know upfront.

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your high-resolution images, order prints or wall art, and share your photos easily.

Yes. Every gallery comes with personal print rights. You’re free to print your images wherever you'd like, though I do recommend using my print shop for the best quality.

Fine art prints, canvases, and custom wall art are also available once your gallery is live.

No. I don’t use Photoshop for body reshaping or appearance changes. I edit every image by hand, but I honor and embrace people as they are.

Light retouching is always included with things like blemishes, distractions, and flyaways. If you have a specific request, I’m open to it within reason. That said, my style leans toward authenticity.
Wedding Specific

I recommend booking 12–18 months in advance. That said, last-minute elopements or intimate weddings can sometimes be squeezed in—always reach out to check.

Yes. Engagement sessions are included in the Classic and Luxury Wedding Packages and can also be booked on their own.
If you decide to book your wedding within 4 weeks of receiving your engagement session, the full cost of your engagement session will be deducted from your final wedding payment. (excluding the 2 hour Package)
Wedding package pricing is not adjusted if an engagement session is declined or has already been completed.
This limited time offer is available as a trial run, allowing couples to experience my process before committing at a larger price point.

Weddings typically 60+ images per hour, depending on the package and coverage.
Other sessions range from 15 to 50+ edited images based on your selected package.

In case of an emergency, I have a small network of trusted photographers I can call on.
You’ll still receive images edited by me, in my style. This is extremely rare, but I always have a plan.
POLICIES + MISCELLANEOUS

Retainers are non-refundable. If something comes up, sessions can be rescheduled once with advance notice at no extra charge. I understand that life happens. Just keep me in the loop.

Occasionally. To hear about them first, join my email list at the bottom of the site. Mini sessions are typically seasonal and limited.
